This cookie policy explains what cookies are, how Flowayz uses them, and how you can manage your preferences. It complements our Privacy policy.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. Cookies let the site recognise your device and store certain information about your preferences or past actions.

2. Types of cookies used

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies (essential)

These cookies are required for the site to work. They cannot be disabled and do not require your consent (Art. 82 of the French Data Protection Act).

2.2 Analytics cookies

These cookies let us measure audience and analyse visitor behaviour in order to improve our services. They are only placed after your explicit consent.

2.3 Cookieless analytics

Flowayz also uses Umami, a self-hosted analytics tool that works without placing any cookie and without collecting personal data. It is GDPR-compliant by design and requires no consent.

3. Managing consent

On your first visit, a cookie banner lets you:

  • Accept all: enables all analytics cookies
  • Reject all: only essential cookies stay active
  • Manage preferences: choose category by category

In line with CNIL recommendations, your consent is valid for 13 months maximum. After that, we will ask you again.

You can change your preferences at any time through the "Manage cookies" link in the site footer.

4. Managing cookies through your browser

Independently of our consent banner, you can configure your browser to accept, refuse or delete cookies:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
