Export your data from Bonsai

Moving to Flowayz? Step one: grab your Bonsai data. Here's exactly how, in under 3 minutes.

Sign in to Bonsai on a desktop

CSV exports only work in the web app (not mobile). Use the workspace owner account.

Tip: If you're on a team, only the Owner role can trigger a full export.

In the side menu, click your avatar (bottom-left), then Settings. The Account tab holds the Export data section.

Tip: Older Bonsai plans show this under 'Workspace settings'.

Check: Clients, Projects, Proposals, Invoices, Contracts. Keep the CSV format default (best compatibility). For signed contracts, also grab the PDFs.

Tip: Skip 'Time tracking' if you don't use it — speeds up the import.

Bonsai emails a download link within 5-10 minutes. Link is valid for 24 hours. Save the .zip to your computer.

Tip: If the email doesn't arrive, check spam. Otherwise trigger the export again — it happens.

Back on Flowayz, click 'Start my free migration' and drop the Bonsai .zip into the dropzone. The AI takes over.

Tip: You can also upload individual CSVs if you prefer to validate one by one.

Once your export is downloaded, head back to the Bonsai migration page and launch it. The AI does the rest.
