Export your data from Indy

Moving from Indy? Here's how to export your data cleanly. Under 3 minutes.

Sign in to Indy in a browser

Exports are not available in the mobile app. Use the main workspace account.

Tip: If your accountant has access, they can run the export too.

Settings live behind the gear icon (top right). The Exports tab lists every data type.

Tip: The tab is sometimes labelled 'Data export' depending on your Indy version.

Check: Clients, Quotes, Invoices, Credit notes. CSV format by default. Export generates a zip instantly.

Tip: Skip Quotes if you don't use Indy for proposals.

Indy CSVs ship as UTF-8. If Excel shows broken accents, don't worry — our import handles UTF-8 natively.

Tip: Do not touch files in Excel, it can corrupt the encoding.

Back on the Flowayz landing, click 'Start my free migration' and drop the zip. The AI takes over.

Tip: Upload CSVs individually if you want tighter control.

Once your export is downloaded, head back to the Indy migration page and launch it. The AI does the rest.
